The Start
Mariely’s creative journey began at a young age. By the age of one she would paint all over her parents walls any chance she could, until she was gifted a sketch book. From there her urge to create only grew. She started painting with acrylic paint, then picked up crocheting. Gifting her closest friends and family with handmade beanies, scarfs, and headbands.
Later in life, she was gifted a sewing machine and through her self-taught adventures she stumbled upon a tufting video by Flavor World. Since then, her obsession only grew.
Making it with Mariely (MWM)
Making it with Mariely is not just an outlet for rug making, but simply an outlet for creating.
Whether that means, creating things on her own or with friends. <3
